Features OPCPumps
Factory Automation/Process Automation.
This is an inexpensive fully rotatable 3d OPC-UA monitoring (and control, if enabled) system developed to monitor up to 37 IO over the web or local area network.
The user can configure up to (3)three pumps and define instrument limit values and set up to (8)eight device status colors for all dynamic devices.
There are 3(three) different types of suction valves and 5(five) different types of discharge valves to choose from.
The user also has the option to configure a TT(Double), PT(Double) and FT(Double) for each pump and can also can configure the motor current and two motor TTs(Double).
These TTs can be used for winding or bearing temperatures.
The LCD(String) can be used to display PLC error messages on the LCD display on the control panel.
The LT(Double) on the sump and the three TT(Double),PT(Double) & FT(Double) on the discharge line can also be enabled and configured as required.
The control panel buttons 0(Stop) and 1(Start) is enabled by the Motor:Cmd Node.Due to the Certificate and Key exchange establishing the OPC connection the first time does takes around a minute or so, thereafter it connects within ~15 sec, this is obviously depending on the network conditions.
The application creates the Self Signed Certificate on the configured OPC Server.
If Login is required, the user have to Trust the OPCPumps Certificate on the OPC Server in order to establish the connection.
Only one instance will be able to communicate with the OPC Server.
On the successful creation of the Certificate a Delete button will appear in the OPC Panel section on the settings screen, the user can use this button to delete the Certificate and associated Key in order to point the app to a different Endpoint.
The application obviously wont connect to an OPC server if the Endpoint entered doesnt exist.
Always ensure that the correct Security Mode is enabled in the OPC Server and supply the correct credentials accordingly.
If one or more dynamic devices appear white and if the associated nodes displays a #Com message it means that the incorrect NodeID was entered.
If all the dynamics devices turn white and all the associated nodes displays a #Com message during runtime, it means that the connection to the server was lost.
The application will try to restore the connection.
The default Endpoint on installation is a free online OPC SimulationServer supplied by Prosys OPC(prosysopc.com).Endpoint: opc.tcp://uademo.prosysopc.com:53530/OPCUA/SimulationServerNodeIDs: ns=3;i=1001 - ns=3;i=1006 of type Double, ns=5;s=StringDataItem of type String and ns=5;s=BooleanDataItem of type Bool.
No Login credentials required.
